My Alaska Story (short version)

After being diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) that ended my career, I decided to follow my life long dream of moving to Alaska. As a Native American from the Yurok Tribe of Northern California , I always had a deep connection to Nature and Animals.

Life becomes very simple living in Bush Alaska. But I knew I had found my home. I was able to join a dog mushing team, and train my own Lead Dog. I named him Neyomok from my native language, meaning to be lucky. He was 8 months old and back up for adoption from the Disney Kennel at Homer Alaska. His Uncle, Don Juan or DJ starred in the movies Snowdogs and 8 Below. I spent many years taking tourists, school groups, and the boy scouts out for rides and races. I was so privileged to enjoy a unique Alaskan lifestyle.

After moving to an island by Juneau Alaska I was lucky to help a friend with his commercial fishing adventure. Traveling S.E. Alaska’s inside passage, On a 45 FT. commercial Troller. The Warlock. or the Gill Netter, Maverick. Catching salmon and painting the beautiful scenery and wildlife.

I decided to share my stories of adventure and my artwork.

The products I sell are made in the USA and all tested for high quality by myself. I keep the prices low to share my art and I donate 10 % to our local animal shelter. And donate my art to the shelter so they can sell it to help out the animals.
